Purpose

LMSSS is purely a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) run by the Catholic Diocese of Warangal and working with sole motive for the upliftment of the poorest of the poor sections, especially in the rural areas and is promoting and addressing social issues and concerns in 10 Districts of Telangana state.

Working Area

Previoulsy Lodi MSSS working area consists of 108 mandals in two civil districts, Warangal (51 mandal) and Karimanagar (57 mandals) of Telangana state. In this LMSSS has worked in 42 mandals and 1161 villages in Warangal and 41 mandals and 891 villages in Karimanagar districts and totally in 83 mandals and 2052 villages with different types of projects to help the needy target people.

Presently Lodi MSSS working area consists of 10 civil districts of Telangana state, namely Warangal urban, Warangal Rural, Bhupalapali, Mahabubad, Jangaon (under old Warangal district), Karimanagar, Peddapalli, Jagityal, Siricilla, Siddipeta (under old Karimanagar district). In these 10 civil districts our working area has extended to 143 mandals and 18 revenue divisions and 2362 revenue villages and 2204 gram panchayat villages. Presently LMSSS is working in 56 mandals and 350 villages of 10 civil districts of Telangana state with different types of projects to help the needy target people.

Presently Most Rev. Udumala Bala is the 3rd President and Rev. Fr. D.Vijaya Paul is the 6th Executive Director of the Society and qualified and experience staff with social concern and passion for social change are promoting the dignity of life of the poor and needy people.

Information Of The Organization :

Legal Status: Lodi is a non-governmental organization, registred under the “Societies Registration Act 9 of 1966”, It’s also registred under “Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) having its number 010360021. It’s a charitable and social development organization exempted from tax.  It’s a charitable and social development organization exempted from tax under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act. It’s an independent organization in itself and works as a social organ of the Catholic Diocese of Warangal – a diocesan caritas. 

Administration: The society has a General Body that meets at least once in a year and an Executive Body that meets in every Four months to look after the administration and proper function of the society. The executive secretory and treasurer (Director) is the leagal person and overall responsible.

Working Personnel: Qualified, experienced and committed senior staff is placed at the development work in the project area and in any given situation. 13 persons are working at manageral level while 21 are working in grass-root level working for the development of the poor and needy.

Financial Sources: The implementation of the projects are done with the partnership of the donors and donor agencies from abrod and local. These donors support with financial sources and Lodi implements the projects and brings the desired results.
